Hi! I’m Anna, from Manila, Philippines. I’m not your typical girl in her 20s, because I barely look past 20 at all. 😉 Three words to describe me would be a homebody, workaholic, and an all-around tech girl.
I graduated from DLS-CSB in late 2011 with a BA specializing in Multimedia Arts. Since then I have been working as a web designer. What I love in this setup is getting the opportunity to work with like-minded people who share a common goal of having a functional website that serves its purpose for its visitors. Working from home, on my own time, is just an added perk. 🙂
My time in a day is spent almost 70% in front of the computer (hey, I’ve been here since 2002! haha), blogging, lurking online, or watching TV shows and movies, and reading, if I’m not working on my next website project. If I’m offline, I’d be spending time with my family, on to the next D sesh (see next paragraph), shopping, out with friends to trips or just simple get togethers over long chats and food.
Presently, I am benched from my old lifestyle (of events, eating whatever and whenever I want, meeting and mingling with people, #hustling to a fulfilling a million work commitments at a time, to name a few) and getting used to my new lifestyle as I have now started on Dialysis treatments, until I (hopefully) get a Kidney transplant. Read more about that here.
Fun facts about me:
- I prefer sneakers and rubber shoes than ballet flats.
- I love fixing computers and and doing DIY surgeries/modifications to it!
- A Clockwork Orange and Requiem For a Dream are my favorite movies because of the amount of violence in them. That and other plenty of other 50s-80s, and cult classic movies.
- Some of my prized possessions include the Incubus 2004 hand painted concert poster, signed Brandon Boyd books; all my other signed books and CDs, signed Incubus poster I made in 2011
- I don’t like having favorites when it comes to people because I hate making other people feel left out.
