It was my first time to attend Gadget Magazine’s yearly event, on its third year! As usual, I was fashionably late. I missed out on the first talk which is Sara Black’s photography talk. 🙁 That’s the part I was really looking forward to in the whole event, aside from the bands of course.
When I arrived, Atty. Ann Edillon was talking about Intellectual Property (IP) concerning the online world. I find that talk very helpful even tho I was only able to watch it from the middle part of her talk cuz it educated me on the nitty gritty of our controversial new Cyber Law. :)) I didn’t get photos because everyone was in a serious mode and I was sucked in to pay attention as well.
My favorite part of PB3 were the bands! Color it Red, Ciudad, Taken by Cars performed and I was giddy throughout because its my first time to see them live. There were other bands who performed too but they were the only ones I knew and remembered, hehe. Before TBC, Mark Laccay and Diego Mapa (you may know him as the vocalist from Pedicab) came to talk about Artisteconnect, a crowdfounding website for artists.
My friend and I took a break after the bands and went back around 8pm for the 2nd part of the show: the Evening Program. We came back just in time for Adel Tamano’s talk, and the awarding of the winners of GoodBlog awards.
Two more bands performed after the awarding. There was a final giveaway after that, to which my name was picked up for the 2nd time! :)) In the end, these are the stuff I got to take home.
And here’s a photo of my friends and I, a few minutes before the event officially ended around nighttime. 🙂 Bye!
HEYYYY! Thanks for coming! Yay you have a photo of Ciudad’s vocalist and Mr. Adel Tamano… HEART!
