I really have no consistency whatsoever with updating my blog. Somehow, I find it easier to update on tumblr than in WordPress but the thing is I’m not letting go of my WordPress blog and completely move to tumblr!
Lemme set that aside and share to you something that I’m sure would be of interest to you and hopefully you’d love to be a part of (nope, I won’t be persuading you to try a new product or invite you to come with me to some secluded place where I will sell you something + end up with you paying me to join our little networking thingymajig).
Alright, drum roll please!

Are you in???? Hope to see you guys!
Finally! This is the result of 3 months planning, staying up late at night doing revisions, setting aside my schoolwork.. all for the love of
DJ Kilmore Incubus! Goddamnit, Incubus, y’all should see the efforts of the Philippine Street Team!
I’d like to thank the team for giving me the opportunity to work on this project in the design area. Thank you So0o0o0 (lol imagine the hosts of the local show Happy Yippee Yehey saying this, its funny/irritating/bothersome at the same time) much (!!!!) for the opportunity!
I’d like to point out that I sortakinda want to make this a mini meet up for you guys. Hehee, there are some folks I am expecting to see there and maybe meet some of you IRL after years of just knowing them online. 8D Hahaha who am I talking to, do I still have readers here? LOL
Now that I have promoted Incubus Night and I (think) have done my quota for the day.. On a different topic now.. My portfolio class is having an exhibit in late August!
Here’s a basic idea of a CSB multimedia exhibit: Flux: An Exhibit of Transitions held at the SDA building last April. Except that one was composed of all the students who had the portfolio class last term and it was held in the school. Ours will be held outside and we will not be merged with other classes (depends on how the negotiation will turn out but by default the exhibit is usually per class on different areas of choice).
FYI: All the kids in my course is required to participate/take this class because the exhibit is a pre-requisite to graduation. So if you’re planning to take up MMA too, watch out for this.
But before that, you have to come up with a snazzy portfolio to impress your external panelist at the 7-8th week. That one concerns me because my portfolio is still lacking in terms of design. Ugh, minimalist is not so easy to achieve!
Call it perfect timing, but this afternoon we had our first meeting about our class exhibit at the end of the term (tentative date is “late August). Guess who’s the
HBIC person in charge in the Marketing committee? Eep. For one, I didn’t want so much responsibilities in the exhibit, let alone be a head person in it.. more responsibilities.
Yeah, I’m lazy, that’s not really something new. I actually have a good reason for not wanting to be too committed with this: My other classes require too much work in our homework and outputs.
I have concerts and shows to go to.
It was either the marketing committee for me or my prof was going to put me in the sponsors committee. Eugh, I’d rather do a poster, thanksverymuch. Also, I don’t like bossing people around.. well, it doesn’t mean that I don’t want to be bossed around, but I’m more used to taking orders instead of telling people what to do. Of course if something *is* wrong, I *will* have to point it out. See, I’m a person who’d rather work in the background!
I hope it’ll be somewhat of a similar setup to what I am doing in the Incubus event right now, which is to do the marketing collaterals and stuff we’ll send out to promote our exhibit. It wasn’t easy, planning out this Incubus Night, but as soon as we finally got it out there and people started to show their interest, it felt really good to know that our efforts paid off!
I’m sure this exhibit will not be any easier, either. According to the ‘meeting’ this afternoon, they were thinking of two locations where to put it out. I suppose I have no say in it because I’m just one person who will complain that is very far. But this particular location caught my attention because it’s close to the mall.. I hope they will decide to do it there. So I can sneak out and get myself a box of Krispy Kreme after, haha!
Can’t help but compare the planning of my first and only school-related exhibit to the event we planned for 2-3 months, sorry! I hope things will go smoothly (even tho it won’t.. no event goes planned without a few conflicts from a few people) and that we hold a successful and fun exhibit so I can finally graduate and be out of this
hellhole place and procrastinate for the entire September!
