Before the stamp on my wrist wears off.. hahaha!
Many, many thanks to Carol of OED for the Premiere Night tickets. 🙂 Thank you for the opportunity, see you next time! 🙂
First, congrats to the director, cast and crew for a successful premiere night of “I Do” last night! All your hard work paid off. 90% of your fans were definitely satisfied. It’s like you literally brought them what they wanted to see in that movie. 😀
Yes, I watched “I Do”.
No, it did not quite reach my expectations. 🙁 Most of the time I kept noticing weird things from the movie like how fast paced it was, a lot of “parts” were skipped/cut off.. like how did she got preggerz in the first place? OH MAYBE BECAUSE… *insert spoiler here* I was waiting for an in your face “explanation” but AGAIN I forgot that this is supposed to be a child-friendly movie.
^ I hope that was not a spoiler for you, clearly the part where Erich is pregnant is clearly shown in the trailer. 🙂
If you’re a fan of the love team in this movie, I suppose you will enjoy the kissing scenes.. As for me, I wanted more… as in SRS KISS, OK. Again, from a more older person’s POV, lol. I’m pretty sure a 17 year old would find the kiss “kilig worthy” and enough whereas I will be wanting more. God I feel so old.
Stuff I liked in the movie (of course there has to be some likeable parts, heh): Janus Del Prado’s role in the movie (everytime he spoke, everybody laughed), Alwyn’s parts.. and the “aww” scenes of Enchong. 😆 (Imagine my 18 year old version wrote this part, k)
Final rating of Enchong and Erich’s “I Do” movie: 5/10
Had not been for my basic video scriptwriting/shooting/editing subjects that I studied last year, I would’ve given a higher rating, haha! I would’ve been carried away with the lead guy’s cuteness and presence infront of the camera.. but no. “Thanks” to the stuff I’ve “learned” last year, everytime I watch a movie I can’t help but focus on the technical aspect of it.
But I’m happy for him for getting two movie projects and magkasunod pa. Congrats, E! :)) 2010 is your year, hahaha.
T’was also my first time to attend a premiere night.. who knew it would be so crazy? I felt a little bit out of place because everybody was yelling when they saw the cast enter the cinema.. =)) Unfortunately I don’t have much photos from the event, especially when they came in, stupid security team confiscated my camera (Of all people there with crappy cams, WHY CONFISCATE MINE? It wasn’t even a DSLR for fuck’s sakes).
Seems like Alwyn Uytingco is back in the spotlight again.. he’s also in this movie (plus he’s part of BFGF now, Sundays @ TV5). Can I just say.. HAI THURRR! I missed this guy.. lol, childhood crush ftw.
Well, at least I got to see them (the cast, Enchong and co. minus some people like Alwyn? IDK maybe he was there and I just didn’t see him) in the flesh/up close on my way out, HRHRHRHR.
Last night was a first (out of the many things I would like to do) and I definitely enjoyed the moment.. hoping it won’t be the last! Hey, I haven’t met him IRL.. so I am not yet done! Hahaha.
Bye! (I wanna change the layout here already)
